Funeral For A Friend Aim for Perfection

.
(Rock AAA) Funeral For A Friend are set to release their fifth studio album "Welcome to Armageddon on March 14. In an exclusive interview with Rock AAA, drummer Ryan Richards admitted they have learned from previous mistakes and took things a little slower during the recording process:"All in all, between The Young and Defenceless EP and the touring, it probably took about a year to write. We scrapped quite a bit of stuff and really worked hard on the tracks, we didn't want to rush it. We were guilty of rushing out Memory and Humanity and we knew this record had to be perfect. " He continued: "With Welcome to Armageddon there's definitely a theme. When you look through the title, lyrics and artwork – but I'd say it's less direct and rigid to the way we did Tales Don't Tell Themselves which was very heavily themed and concept based. There's no right or wrong to conclusion to how the theme of this record makes you think – it's there for you decide." more on this story
