The Decemberists have announced a second U.S. tour leg for the Spring, which will kick off April 16 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and cover the Midwest and South before reaching Atlanta, Georgia on May 2. The 14-date run will also include the band's first-ever appearance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 1, and a rescheduled performance in Royal Oak, Michigan on April 22.
The Decemberists are currently in the midst of the sold-out first leg of their North American tour on the heels of their #1 album The King Is Dead on EMI's Capitol Records.
