Coldplay Not The Rolling Stones

(Gibson) Coldplay are the first headliners to be confirmed for Glastonbury 2011. It will be the band's first appearance at the festival since 2005.According to The Sun, festival organizers were aiming to line up The Rolling Stones, but the deal fell through. Allegedly, the Stones were "considering closely" and "incredibly tempting" offer to bring them to Glastonbury for the first time, but that things didn't pan out. U2 are being rumored to join Coldplay as Glastonbury headliners this year. The Irish rockers were set to play the event last year, but had to bow out following Bono's back surgery.
