(Gibson) This September the "AC/DC Australia's Family Jewels" exhibit will park itself in Glasgow, Scotland — the birthplace of the Young brothers — after having opened already in Melbourne and Sydney, where the band originated. The exhibit celebrates nearly four decades of AC/DC with more than 400 items, among them photos, instruments, posters, tickets, letters, lyrics, and other band memorabilia.
"I traveled all over the place from Sydney to Glasgow and New York — contacting collectors, visiting old friends, family and roadies, searching photographer's archives, reading endless press stories and all the unapproved biographies, generally sorting out fact from fiction about the band's history," said exhibition curator Tim Fisher on the exhibit website. more on this story
