Break Up Boosts The White Stripes

(Gibson) After news broke that The White Stripes were no more, sales have increased dramatically.NME.com reports that according to figures on Amazon.co.uk, the band's 2010 live album and documentary Under Great White Northern Lights saw a 2,644% increase after the announcement of their demise. Amazon's Movers & Shakers chart, which tracks high performing albums, sees two other White Stripes albums in the Top 10: White Blood Cells, up 612% to #5 and Elephant, up 402% to #7. more on this story
