(hennemusic) Steven Tyler's presence on American Idol continues to be money in the bank for Aerosmith.Billboard reports that Tyler's impromptu duet of Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" with Lauren Alaina that aired Thursday (Jan. 27), followed by a clip of the original version, was enough for the ballad to make its first appearance on Billboard's Digital Songs chart, entering at No. 54. Aerosmith's top-charting Billboard Hot 100 hit - it reigned at No. 1 for four weeks in 1998 - sold 34,000 downloads in the Jan. 24-30 tracking week, a 363% increase, according to Nielsen SoundScan. more on this story
