The Tonight Show with Jay Leno house band member Wayne Linsey is releasing a new CD, "A Song Without Words" (Headrok Records). On March 1, 2011, Linsey will host a CD listening party for "A Song Without Words" at the legendary Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles.On his new CD Wayne plays guitar, drums, bass and percussions, however, he is known for his legendary talent as a premier keyboardist in the industry. His first single from the CD is "Sidekickin'." This breezy, upbeat, Jazz instrumental imparts a joyful ambiance that is sure to make it the listeners' favorite song.
Written and produced by Linsey, "Sidekickin'" showcases why this incomparable artist has been one of the most sought after keyboardists in the industry - attracting an international following for more than 25 years. "Sidekickin'" is one of 14 infectious instrumental and vocal performances delivering a fusion of Jazz, funk and R&B on Linsey's new album, "A Song Without Words." The extended album version of "Sidekickin'" also features Maze guitarist John "Jubu" Smith.
Linsey's CD features guest artists such as Fred Wesley, Bobby Brown, Leon Ware, Kenny Garrett, Hiram Bullock, Paul Jackson, Jr., Michael "Patches" Stewart, Louis Price, Lamont Van Hook, Sy Smith, Courtney "B.
