(Drag City) Sophia Knapp of Cliffie Swan (previously known as LIGHTS) has had a dream, and that dream takes the form of a new single, to be released February 22, called "Nothing To Lose". "Nothing To Lose" is a highly visual and seductive tune, saturated with melodic fragments of memories and dreams. Influenced by pop records from the 1960s and 70s, and her desire to create a modern interpretation of such, Sophia has crafted a sound scape that enfolds the listener in a blanket both warm and familiar. Side B is a remix by the lovey Caroline Polachek of Chairlift. Sophia Knapp will be performing:
2/16/11 at Sway in New York, NY and 2/24/11 at Coco 66 in Brooklyn, NY.
