You can always count on Van Halen to keep people guessing and that's just what they did with their tour announcement over Christmas weekend. Ultimate Classic Rock reports that in addition to announcing plans to hit the road in 2012, Van Halen have also seemed to hint at details of their reunion album. The disc could very well hit stores Feb. 7, if the graphic [released by the band] is any indication of what the band has in store for fans.
Then again, maybe not. It's really not clear exactly what the "2.7.12″ refers to — album release date? single release date? something else? — but some news outlets are interpreting a mass email mailed out [on Monday] with the subject "The Future" as the actual title of the VH album.
