(Gibson) Progressive rock heavyweight legends Steve Hackett and Chris Squire have formed a new band and have made a new album. Squackett (get it?) will release their first album on Esoteric on May 8.The former Genesis lead guitarist Steve Hackett was previously joined by one-time Yes bassist Chris Squire on Hackett's solo albums – Out of the Tunnel's Mouth and Beyond the Shrouded Horizon.
Hackett told Blog Talk Radio: "There'll be certain things on there that I think you'll be hard-pressed to say this is a combination of guys that have come from Genesis and Yes. I think it's bigger than that. We cast a wider net over all the genres." more on this story
