(MSO) Mayor Carolyn Goodman has passed a proclamation officially declaring January 2, 2012, "deadmau5 Day" in the City of Las Vegas. This marks the date the electronic music phenomenon will launch his exclusive partnership with Wynn Las Vegas, debuting at XS Nightclub during New Year's Eve weekend and continuing with additional dates at both Encore Beach Club and XS through 2012.
"Throughout the past year we have seen the masses journey to Las Vegas to experience electronic dance artists headlining in our nightclubs," said Jesse Waits, co-owner and managing partner of XS and Tryst nightclubs. "The following for deadmau5 is phenomenal, and I applaud Mayor Goodman for recognizing both his remarkable persona alongside his ability to drive visitor traffic from fans traveling across the globe to experience his live sets."
