(hennemusic) It was Tesla day in Sacramento, California on Wednesday. As part of the festivities, the rockers were on hand to receive the key to the city from Mayor Kevin Johnson, who praised the band for raising the city's profile worldwide.The presentation was held at the Sacramento Rock And Roll Museum, the site of the Oasis Ballroom, where the band first got its start.
"Being from Sacramento has really been good for us," said guitarist Frank Hannon, "because we've been able to keep it real and not get caught up in glam and the competition down in Hollywood and all that. We're proud to be from Sacramento; it's a hometown, heartfelt thing."
