(hennemusic) Metallica kicked off their 30th Anniversary shows Monday night at the Fillmore in San Francisco.For the first of four dates, the band was joined by special guests Jason Newsted, John Marshall (Metal Church), Sean Harris and Brian Tatler (Diamond Head), Biff Byford (Saxon) and Apocalyptica.
The setlist featured a real rarity: "Hate Train," a previously unreleased song from the "Death Magnetic" sessions.
A rough-mix version of the studio recording has since been e-mailed to members of Metallica's official fan club
and has surfaced online. Check it out.
