As reported by RollingStone.com, the legendary guitarist's tell-all book has sold more than one million copies, a total that's the literary equivalent of achieving platinum status in the music world.In addition to earning Richards a massive payday – he received a $7 million-plus advance for the tome – the book earned nearly universally positive reviews. Chief among these was effusive praise lavished on Life by rocker Liz Phair, in a lead review for the New York Times.
Richards, who penned the book with British author James Fox, chronicled the arc of his life thus far, including his post-war boyhood, his adventures with The Rolling Stones and the dynamics of his creative bond with Mick Jagger.
