(Rock News Desk) Festival bosses are taking weather warnings more seriously after the recent spate of storm-fuelled stage collapses which killed a dozen people and injured hundreds. The worst incident took place at the Indiana State Fair where the death toll has risen to seven. Five lost their lives at Belgium's Pukkelpop last weekend and there have been significant collapses at Ottawa and Tulsa during the summer.Now organisers of the Uproar Festival set to take place in Mansfield, Massachusetts on Sunday has been rescheduled to the following Tuesday as Hurricane Irene threatens to storm the area over the weekend.
The bill includes Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Seether, Bullet For My Valentine and Escape the Fate. A7X frontman M Shadows says: "Safety first. We don't want any of our fans to get hurt. We decided to move the show from Sunday to Tuesday so all you crazy f**ks can make it and stay safe." more on this story
