(PR) Rod Stewart returned to Las Vegas to kick off his new residency at Caesars Palace, titled, Rod Stewart: The Hits. Stewart arrived at the Garden of the Gods pool oasis in a classic car as a group of synchronized swimmers kicked into an homage performance to his song “Hot Legs.”
Stewart then hit the Colosseum’s stage, where he and his 13-piece band tore into a non-stop set list which mixed the big hits like “Maggie May,” “Rhythm of My Heart,” “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?,” “Forever Young,” “Tonight’s the Night” and “You Wear it Well” with some sizzling covers, rarely performed including “The Killing of Georgie (Part 1 & 2),” “Broken Arrow” and “Infatuation,” as well as the Vegas-appropriate “Some Guys Have All The Luck” and “Shake Your Money Maker” to the delight of a sold-out audience of his fans.
