Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax For Metal Masters

(Gibson) Members of some of the top metal bands are coming together for the second-ever Metal Masters Clinic in New York City. Guys from Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax and (formerly) Dream Theater will take part in the event, September 12 at the Best Buy Theater.Participants include drummer Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater, Adrenaline Mob), guitarist Kerry King (Slayer), bassist David Ellefson (Megadeth), drummer Charlie Benante (Anthrax) and bassist Frank Bello (Anthrax). It's no wonder that the members of three of the Big Four bands will be in NYC on September 12; the Big Four show at Yankee Stadium will go down a couple days later. The clinic is free to the public and begins at 5 p.m. Wristbands will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event.
