Pretty Lights Tuscaloosa Disaster Relief Concert

(RL) Pretty Lights is hosting a show on October 13th at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater that will partially benefit the Tuscaloosa Disaster Relief Fund.

The event will feature performances by Pretty Lights and special guests STS9 and Big Gigantic.

Pretty Lights will donate $5 from every ticket sold to the Tuscaloosa Disaster Relief Fund. The Tuscaloosa Amphitheater has a capacity of more than 7,000.

A tornado struck Tuscaloosa, AL on April 27, 2011, claiming numerous lives and leaving more than 5,000 homes and businesses destroyed or severely damaged. The Tuscaloosa Disaster Relief Fund was established by the West Alabama Chamber Foundation, Inc. to provide basic human services to victims and assist in recovery efforts in Tuscaloosa and the surrounding areas that were impacted by the tornado. Box 020410, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.

Pretty Lights will also be working with Conscious Alliance to hold a food drive at the concert. Patrons who donate at least 10 non-perishable food items will receive a free limited edition poster created exclusively for the event. All food donations collected will benefit the West Alabama Food Bank and support Tuscaloosa's disaster relief efforts. For more information visit www.ConsciousAlliance.org.
