(Gibson) Former Motley Crue and Union singer John Corabi has recorded a solo acoustic album featuring re-recorded Crüe and Union songs, as well as new tracks.Corabi recorded two versions of the Mötley Crüe hit "Hooligan's Holiday" – a stripped-back acoustic version and a more elaborate but still acoustic-based band arrangement – as well as a version of Mötley Crüe's "Loveshine" and even a song by Corabi's first band, Angora, which was originally produced by Steve Vai.
Although Corabi only made one album and an EP with Mötley Crüe before being ousted for Vince Neil's return, he remains positive about the experience. "I had an amazing time doing that record," Corabi said. "I have no regrets about that thing at all. Still to this day, I meet people like Sevendust, Staind and all the guys in my son's band, that [expletive] love that record. It was heavy, but had melody. Our playing was great and I'm very proud of that thing. I'm proud of the fact that a lot of people think that's the best work Mötley has ever done and that it's a classic record that has stood the test of time." more on this story
