Dawes have announced a fall North American co-headlining tour with Blitzen Trapper. The 29-date tour kicks off on October 7th in Petaluma, CA, and will hit major cities across the US and Canada.
This tour follows the June release of their sophomore album, Nothing Is Wrong.
Dawes was recently hand-picked by legends Robbie Robertson (The Band) and Jackson Browne to serve the backing band for their respective projects; performing with Robertson on some special TV performances (Late Night with David Letterman, The View, and The Jools Holland Show) and with Browne on a recent European tour.
According to Robertson: "They're really good and they're a band - it's different than just getting a bunch of individual musicians and trying to make them click and blend. They're all at the top of their game...they know what works. I appreciate a young band with a broad horizon. Dawes is that in spaces."
Browne states: "Dawes are an incredible young band. Their singer, Taylor Goldsmith, is a brilliant songwriter with very hip lyrics. He and his brother Griffin have one of those great familial harmony blends. You can't mention a record that these guys haven't listened to."
