(Gibson) Kings of Leon have accepted an apology from Glee creator Ryan Murphy, months after he ranted over the band's refusal to allow their songs to be used in the hit show.Earlier this month, Murphy told HollywoodReporter.com that he regretted his Twitter tirade, in which he called the band "self-centered [expletive]." Murphy told the site, "I didn't speak with as much clarity as I would have liked," and "I completely understand when artists don't want a show or another artist to interpret their songs. I respect that. It's their personal work and I'd feel the same way."
This weekend, Kings of Leon's Caleb Followill told Rolling Stone, "I'm glad he said something," and added, "We don't hold grudges." Drummer Nathan Followill said he too was pleased with the prospect of an end to the feud. "I'll just be glad when I can check my Google alerts and don't have to read anything about us and Glee," he said. "That'll be a wonderful feeling." more on this story
