(Gibson) A recent Lopez Tonight phone interview with Prince yielded a special announcement – The Purple One will embark on a 21-night set of concerts in Los Angeles beginning Thursday, April 14.Host George Lopez, who called Prince his "Puerto Rican brother from another mother," says Prince will perform on his show prior to the residency. "I will be starting a 21-night stand next Thursday, the 14, at the L.A. Forum with the New Power Generation and a whole gang of special guests," said Prince on Lopez Tonight. "We need some place to rehearse though. Can we come over there next Wednesday?" more on this story
