(Gibson) On their upcoming South American tour, metal legends Iron Maiden plan to film a few concerts for an upcoming DVD. According to BraveWords.com, Bassist Steve Harris told Chile's Futuro 88.9 FM that the band will film their April 8 and 10 shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Santiago, Chile, respectively."Chileans and Argentines have been a great strength for us, and now we want to show the public more of those parts," Harris said. "We had already recorded there for the movie, Flight 666, but only one song per country. Now we'll show the public much more of Chile and Argentina. Wherever we go, we always wondered what the best groups in the world were, and we thought South America, Chile, Argentina and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Now we can show it." Clearly that part of the world means something special to the Maiden guys. "I always thought that if we could take the public with us, it would be to those countries," he said. "The rest of the fans in the world can see how they react to the Chileans and Argentines, and will have something to draw from." more on this story
