(Gibson) The Thin White Duke is going back to his "Golden Years" for a new release. David Bowie will put out an EP featuring the original version of the 1975 single with four remixes – created by DJs Jeremy Sole, Anthony Valadez, Eric J. Lawrence and Chris Douridas, according to NME.com. The EP will be released on June 6.In addition, Bowie has also commissioned a "Golden Years" iPhone app, which will come out the same day as the EP. Created by Station to Station producer Harry Maslin, the app will allow fans to craft their own remix of the Bowie classic. "Golden Years" was the first song completed for the Station to Station album. Bowie said that he offered it to Elvis Presley to perform, but that The King declined. more on this story
