Danko Jones have recruited Karate Kid Ralph Macchio and That Metal Show's Don Jamieson for their new video. Here is what their camp had to say:Danko Jones has introduced the second in the soon to be music video trilogy from the album Below the Belt (Bad Taste Records/Caroline). The new highly-stylized, film-like music video noir for the track "Had Enough" stars Ralph Macchio (The Karate Kid), comedian Don Jamieson (That Metal Show) and is the prequel to "Full of Regret."
Described as "one-part 'Sabotage,' one-part Guy Ritchie, one-part Quentin Tarantino,""Full of Regret" starred actor Elijah Wood and actress Selma Blair as assassins with cameo roles by Lemmy Kilmister (Motφrhead) and Mike Watt (Minutemen, fIREHOSE, Stooges).
"Had Enough" will also feature Frank Drank, best known for his recurring role as a Viking in the current Capital One ad campaign, reprising his role as Lemmy's henchman.
In "Had Enough," a "mad scientist" (portrayed by Macchio) has found a way to clone himself and the band of Danko Jones is ordered off to deal with it. Their failure at the end of the video is what ultimately leads henchmen Frank and Lemmy to send Elijah and Selma after them in "Full of Regret." Directed once again by the Diamond Brothers, the full video will be available in the coming weeks.
The band's much buzzed about video for the song "Full of Regret" portrays Lemmy as a mob boss who hires hit men Elijah Wood and Selma Blair to take out the members of the band. Mike Watt plays the narrator as the action-packed story continues to unfold. View the entire video for "Full of Regret" online at YouTube here.
