Here is the recap: (Gibson) Slash has revealed Velvet Revolver will be holding auditions for a new frontman this October, via an Artisan News Service video.He also confirmed that the new singer will not be Myles Kennedy, who has been performing singing duties on Slash's solo tour (and is also a member of Alter Bridge). "Velvet Revolver will be a 24-hour-a-day project and Kennedy is still committed to Alter Bridge," Slash recently told BostonHerald.com. "I don't want to be the guy responsible for breaking up a band.
