(TPGPR) Actor, singer and songwriter Michael Copon release his new single, "Let's Get Nasty," on iTunes. It will also be available for download on Rhapsody, Napster, Amazon MP3, Zune, Spotify, MySpace Music, MediaNet, eMusic, Nokia, ShockHound, Thumbplay and IMVU later this month.
For the past few years, Michael has been busy touring Europe, as well as the States, where he has been working on his music in preparation for his album's forthcoming release. One word to describe Copon's music? Futuristic. Expect to hear a unique, never before heard fusion of R&B, hip-hop, pop, dance, and house genres.
Although he's been passionately pursuing music, you'll still be able to catch Michael on your television, as well as the big screen in the very near future. He'll be appearing on CBS' remade series, Hawaii 5-0, which airs later this month, as well as producing his second feature film, Killer Holiday. He will also be starring in the remake of Night of the Demons coming out in October 2010. By his side in this demonic thriller will be Shannon Elizabeth, Monica Keena, Diora Baird, and Edward Furlong.
Born in Chesapeake, Virginia, Michael broke into the acting scene when he was 18 years old, playing the Blue Power Ranger on Power Rangers: Time Force. He then appeared in guest star roles on popular shows such as That's So Raven (as a member of "The Boyz in Motion"), and Reno 911. Next, Michael took on the role of Felix Taggaro on the CW Network's hit series One Tree Hill. From 2006 to 2009, he starred on The N network's Beyond the Break, MTV's All You've Got, NBC's Scrubs, CBS' CSI Miami, and Universal Pictures' Bring It On: In It To Win It, and The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior.
