(Press Here) Natasha Bedingfield has announced the release of her third studio album, Strip Me, due out November 9th on Phonogenic/Epic Records. Recorded in Los Angeles, Strip Me reminds us of the gift Bedingfield has for creating smart, substantive pop music. The album's first single, title track "Strip Me," will be released digitally on September 21st. The Londoner, Bedingfield who now maintains a residence in Los Angeles as well as in the UK, has spent the better part of the last five years touring and promoting her first two albums. Her experiences traveling the globe provided her with a unique perspective that helped inform a thoughtful new body of work. Writing more than 50 songs, Bedingfield, armed with an impressive production team of modern hitmakers including, GRAMMY award winner John Shanks (Michelle Branch, Sheryl Crow), Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis), Wayne Wilkins (Beyonce, Jordin Sparks), John Hill (Shakira, Santigold), Kleerup (Robyn, Cyndi Lauper), Danielle Brisebois ("Unwritten," "Pocketful of Sunshine") and reuniting with Steve Kipner, who produced Natasha's own smash hit "These Words," has stripped down her songs to the 13 tracks contained on her newest release. Each song on Strip Me evokes the innate desires, needs and fears which people feel in these most troubling times. Although the title of the album is provocative, the songs Natasha writes underscore the things that are important to her. Bedingfield's message is clear. Don't get caught up in material things. Don't be afraid to be loved, to be supported, and to be touched. Believe in yourself and follow your heart. While the album's theme is soulful, Bedingfield's gifts as a singer and songwriter continue to reflect that magic spark and infectious pop sensibility that catapulted her to being the first British female artist in twenty years to score a no.1 on the U.S. Billboard pop chart with her first smash hit "Unwritten." From the upbeat, playful take on fate in the sneak peak track "Touch," which Bedingfield recently performed live on Ellen and So You Think You Can Dance, to the insatiably catchy first single, "Strip Me," Bedingfield's album arouses a boisterous sense of passion that makes one feel like taking on all comers. Natasha's vision of the future is bright and her album is glorious and adventurous from start to finish. Bedingfield will tour America this fall and is looking forward to returning to the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia to support the release of her album internationally in 2011. Since the release of her massive debut album, Unwritten, in 2006, Natasha Bedingfield has sold more than 10 million singles and albums worldwide. In 2004, "These Words" became her first UK #1 single, and was followed by worldwide smash "Unwritten" which has been certified double platinum, and became the most played track at U.S. pop radio in 2006. It was also the first #1 pop single by a British Female Solo artist in the U.S. in over 20 years and garnered the singer-songwriter her first Grammyฎ nomination for "Best Female Pop Vocal Performance." Natasha's success continued with the release of her sophomore album, Pocketful Of Sunshine three years later, which featured the hits "Love Like This" with Sean Kingston and "Pocket Full of Sunshine," which has sold nearly 3 million copies to date.
