(Gibson) Sugarland's fourth album The Incredible Machine had debuted at #1 this week on both Billboard's Top 200 all-genre chart and the current country chart with sales of more than 202,000, topping releases by Kings of Leon, Elton John and Leon Russell, Rod Stewart and Lil Wayne, who make up the Top 5 of the Top 200.Although Kings of Leon had their personal best sales week – their fifth album, Come Around Sundown, debuted with 184,000 copies sold – it wasn't enough to top the country superstars. This is the third time that Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of Sugarland have seen a new album debut at the top. "We are thrilled to be #1 this week," Nettles said in a press statement.
