Rolling Stones guitar legend Ronnie Wood has explained that one reason for quitting alcohol was that he was becoming miserable and grumpy. Wood told The Sun: "There was a point where it wasn't working anymore. I was a grumpy old man. I thought, 'This is not me, I'm not like this. I shouldn't be this grumpy git.'" Teetotal for more than eight months now, Wood is delighted at the change. "I'm like a newborn baby," he said. "I'm waking up and thinking, 'Wow, I actually know what I'm doing.'" - more on this story
