.
(Gibson) Metal drumming veteran Vinnie Appice (Heaven and Hell, Dio, Black Sabbath) has announced that he has begun a new band, tentatively titled Kill Devil Hill. The percussionist told Metal Shop that the group will include former Pantera/current Down bassist Rex Brown."It's a cool thing. This thing just kicks ass," Appice said. "Unknown singer... his name is Dewey Bragg. And Mark Zavon on guitar. And Rex Brown from Pantera has played on some of the tracks." Kill Devil Hill's guitarist, Mark Zavon, is known for his work with RATT, W.A.S.P. and 40 Cycle Hum. "It just kills," Appice said. "So this will be out next year. We just hooked up management." - more on this story
