Nickelodeon's iCarly star Jennette McCurdy is set to perform at the inaugural Family Day benefitting the T.J. Martell Foundation from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2010. The exciting indoor carnival will be fun for kids of all ages and will take place at Belmont University's Curb Event Center at 2002 Belmont Blvd. in Nashville.
"We are very excited to have an actress and singer the caliber of Jennette McCurdy perform at our inaugural Family Day," said Derek Crownover, president, T.J. Martell Foundation Southern Region Board of Directors. "Her presence will be a thrill to everyone who attends Family Day and greatly add to an event that will bring families together for afternoon of entertainment and pure fun."
In addition to McCurdy's performance, the event will feature a kid's monster mosh pit, an activity area with balloon and caricature artists, carnival games, crafts, trick or treat booths, inflatable games & obstacle courses, Dunkin' Donuts, Baskin Robbins ice cream, a variety of food and more. General admission is $15.00 per person or $50.00 for a family of four, and children under the age of three are admitted free.
"I'm really looking forward to being in Nashville on Halloween for this T.J. Martell event," said Jennette. "I was in Nashville for my birthday party, but didn't get to sing, so this will be fun, especially since it's Halloween - one of my favorite holidays - and we're going to be raising money for a great cause!"
