April Smith and the Great Picture Show will close out 2010 with tour dates in support of their LP, Songs For A Sinking Ship. Kicking off November 4th in Cambridge, MA and culminating November 30th in Chicago, IL with stops along the way in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Spokane, San Francisco, Seattle and Los Angeles to name a few
Audiences nationwide are quickly becoming fans of April Smith and The Great Picture Show. "Terrible Things," is prominently featured in promos for this seasons Showtime television series "Weeds". Additionally, the National Football League is using her cover of Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me," in a television campaign currently running promoting a new line of fashionable NFL clothing for women. Smith's song "Wow and Flutter" can also be heard in a Colgate Wisps commercial.
