Christina Aguilera is planning some live Burlesque at the 2010 American Music Awards. Christina's performance will feature a live number from her upcoming film Burlesque, which will be released by Screen Gems, a division of Sony Pictures, on November 24th. She will join other previously announced acts including Bon Jovi, P!nk and Usher.
Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks. The show will broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday, November 21st (8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on ABC.
The soundtrack to Burlesque will be released on November 22nd on RCA Records and features numerous original songs co-written and performed by Christina as well as production by Tricky Stewart and Linda Perry and songwriting by Claude Kelly, Tricky Stewart and Sia. Burlesque also includes remakes / covers of classic songs such as Etta James' "Something's Got A Hold On Me" and "Tough Lover" and Mae West's "A Guy What Takes His Time".
