Viva City are heading Stateside to play New York's massive CMJ Music Marathon this week, as part of their biggest US tour to date. With a string of dates on the East Coast, the UK's new 'Fab Four' are bringing their unique style of synth-laden techno wizardry to the masses with their 'Programmed to Party Tour'.
Viva City fuse the musical creativity and audacity of rock gods MUSE with the dirty electronic energy of the PRODIGY, creating an infectious blend of dark, soaring electro rock with dance-inspired undertones. With full-blown rock star attitude and explosive live shows that leave audiences demanding more, Viva City are at the forefront of a new wave of cutting-edge British sound.
Viva City's bassist, Bruce Tate, said: "After a summer rocking British music festivals we're more than ready for our return to the States, after playing SXSW this year. It's mint to be invited back to play the Viper Room, Hollywood. I cannot wait! And CMJ is an awesome opportunity for Viva City, it was simply a matter of time before this band hit NYC! Bring it on!"
