(Jive) Matisse joins forces with Konvict Music, Akon's label, to remix her No. 1 dance hit "Better Than Her." The remix which features Akon and is currently exploding at Top 40 radio. I think Matisse has the potential to be America's next pop darling and a global superstar," professes Akon.
Other top writers and producers on her forthcoming debut album include Dallas Austin (TLC, Pink, Gwen Stefani), Tricky Stewart (Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Beyonce) and breakout pop singer/songwriter Bruno Mars. Kevin Rudolf (Lil' Wayne, Jesse McCartney), who produced "Better Than Her," says, "Matisse is one of my favorite new artists. Last month, Matisse embarked on a radio tour that included stops in Denver, Dallas, Miami, San Antonio and other select markets in support of "Better Than Her" and the single is becoming a breakout viral hit with over one million collective online plays on YouTube alone.
