.
(Gibson) Weezer fans have been clamoring for the release of the upcoming Death to False Metal album for a while now. Finally, the album has been given a release date of November 1. The rarities collection will include nine previously unreleased tracks, as well as a cover of Toni Braxton's "Unbreak My Heart." The project was first made public when Rivers Cuomo and company appeared on Los Angeles radio station KROQ during the summer of 2008. Cuomo revealed that the band was compiling a rarities album, but had no specific plans for its release. Originally titled Odds and Ends, the collection includes songs dating back to the early '90s. Cuomo said at the time that the tracks are "great songs, great recordings, but for some reason they didn't make the final cut for a record." - Check out the tracklisting here
