(Gibson) A handwritten, never-mailed letter written by Kurt Cobain to MTV is up for bids at Julian's Auctions. The single-page note, which lambasts the music network, reads as follows: "Dear Empty TV/ the entity of all Corporate / GODS / We will survive without you/ easily - - the / old school is going / DOWN FAST/ my life's Dedication/ is Now to Do Nothing/ But SLAG something / Kurdt Kobaineee professional Rock musician." The letter is undated, but it is presumed it was written in 1993, which was the same year Cobain and Nirvana appeared at the MTV Video Music Awards and let loose with their feelings about the network. - more on this story
