RCA sent over word that Funeral Party have set January 25, 2011 as the new U.S. release date for their debut album Golden Age Of Knowhere. Rising out of the East L.A. party scene, Funeral Party has made their presence known worldwide, earning a spot on NME's 50 Best New Bands of 2010, a spotlight feature in UK's famed Q Magazine and added to BBC Radio Zane Lowe's "Hottest Record in the World" playlist.
Soon after signing with RCA Records, Funeral Party, whose name was inspired by a Cure song of the same title, finished recording tracks for their full-length debut, Golden Age of Knowhere.
The album was produced by Lars Stalfors (Matt & Kim, The Mars Volta) and mixed by Dave Sardy (Band of Horses, LCD Soundsystem, Oasis).
