(Rock AAA) Dave Grohl says I Should Have Known, the Foo Fighters track featuring ex-Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic, is the band's darkest song.It's the first time the pair have worked together in 20 years, but they've never lost touch. The recording process also reunited them with producer Butch Vig, who manned the desk for Nirvana's iconic Nevermind album in 1991. Grohl decided to abandon the trappings of expensive production work for the Foos' first record after taking a break. He wanted to look back at his own and his band's roots, so the new album was recorded in his garage and a movie was shot of the process. And he says the entire concept came to him while he was on tour with supergroup side-project Them Crooked Vultures. - more on this story
