(Gibson) Henry Rollins, fearless spoken word artist and redoubtable Rollins Band and Black Flag frontman, has announced plans for an unusual, one-night-only event December 9 at the Echoplex in Los Angeles. He will host a listening party at which he will play favorite selections from his extensive personal music collection and share personal stories related to the music with the intimate venue's crowd. Rollins is sure to deliver a few tunes and anecdotes from his years as a punk and metal performer, but is also likely to key in on his recent years as a world traveler, during which he's had far-flung adventures in places such as Senegal, Siberia, Burma and Bangladesh. - more on this story
