Scott Weiland Christmas Album Not Coming This Year was a top 10 story this week . Here is the recap: (Gibson) Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland has revised plans to release a Christmas album in time for the 2010 holidays. Instead, STP guitarist Doug Grean says that Weiland's album will hit stores next year.In August, Weiland told ExploreMusic that he was at work on a "very traditional" Christmas album with a full-on band that included "strings, upright bass, jazz horns, piano, and guitar." Weiland said his Christmas album would include a reggae version of "The Little Drummer Boy," explaining: "I'm sort of picking various versions of these songs, because they've been covered so many times, but my favorite versions – with a little twist." - more on this story
