(Primary Wave) Songwriter Shy Carter has scored his second #1 chart topping hit of the year with Sugarland's smash country song "Stuck Like Glue". Carter also achieved the #1 spot on the Hot AC chart earlier in 2010 with "Someday" by Rob Thomas, which was co-written with Rob Thomas and Matt Serletic. Los Angeles- based Shy Carter is known for his versatility as a producer and recording artist in addition to his songwriting work. Prior to signing with Emblem/Primary Wave Shy co-wrote Ashanti's hit "Switch" and worked on projects from Nelly, Murphy Lee and Chingy. Shy is currently collaborating with several Emblem, Warner Brothers and Interscope artists including Ray Jay, Cody Wise and Robyn Troup. This week, Carter traveled to Tennessee for CMA week to celebrate his new #1 single and begin a two-week writing trip to work with some of Nashville's finest songwriters. "I'm so thankful that I've been able to accomplish such a tremendous feat not only once, but twice this year. I'm so grateful that the public has responded to my work with such enthusiasm, and that I've been blessed with working with the most fantastic artists," says Shy Carter.
