The top bid of the evening was $600 by Mary Lee Josey of Tampa, FL, for a Gibson electric guitar autographed by Farner and the rest of the weekend's rock star counselors -- head counselor Dickey Betts (Allman Brothers), Mark Hudson (Aerosmith producer/songwriter), Kip Winger (Winger), Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Ozzy, Blue Oyster Cult), Sandy Gennaro (Joan Jett, Cyndi Lauper), Rami Jaffee (Foo Fighters, Wallflowers), Joey Molland (Badfinger), David Uosikkinen (The Hooters) and Ty Dennis (Doors of the 21st Century). Josey bought the guitar for her husband, William, as a keepsake memento of his dream weekend gift from her, and a way of helping and thanking Farner, William's counselor, for making those dreams come true.

"I took up mountain climbing when I turned 40 and thought nothing would top the first time I climbed my first big mountain, but this was right there," said Mark, a corporate attorney, of his weekend experience as a member of Farner's camper band. "We were so happy to buy that guitar for Mark and so pleased to be able to support Jesse Farner. It was a dream come true to have Mark Farner as my counselor. He's a wonderful musician, singer and performer, but what impressed me the most was what a wonderful person he is. He was patient, and supportive of the band throughout the entire weekend, and we all learned from him. The experience exceeded all of my expectations, and rekindled a feeling that I have not had in many, many years about music and musicians. I have done nothing but play my guitar since I got home. I'm still 10 feet off the ground."

Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp is such a life-changing experience for so many campers, it's not uncommon to find them signing up again and again. In fact, one camper had such a good time at the Philadelphia kickoff camp, that he immediately enrolled in the San Francisco camp this weekend. Campers from all walks of life are traveling across state lines to live out their rock 'n' roll fantasies on the "Weekend Warrior" Tour as it continues in San Francisco (Nov. 5-7), Dallas (Nov. 12-14) and Chicago (Nov. 19-21). Head counselor Dickey Betts is being joined on tour by Mark Farner, Mark Hudson, Rudy Sarzo, Kip Winger, Sandy Gennaro, and an increasing number of special guest rock stars in each city. The special guest roster has expanded again to include: Jack Blades (Night Ranger), Bruce Kulick (Kiss), and Rami Jaffee in San Francisco; John Moyer (Disturbed), Teddy Andreadis (Guns N' Roses, Alice Cooper), and Manny Charlton (Nazareth producer) in Dallas; and Mitch Ryder (Detroit Wheels), Joey Molland, Ty Dennis and Andreadis in Chicago.

Hudson, Sarzo and Winger are all featured throughout VH1 Classic's new hit series – also called Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp – which is still breaking ratings records as it enters its fourth weekend. Ace Frehley, who also will appear at the 2011 Bahamas camp in February with bad boy drummer Tommy Lee, Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains) and Lita Ford (Runaways), is the featured guest rock star in Episode Four, which premieres Saturday night (Nov. 5) at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT.
