Joe Cocker A Rare Mad Dog

Today A&M/UMe released Joe Cocker's Mad Dogs & Englishmen Rarities Edition, which was original released as part of the two disc Deluxe Edition. Here is the blurb:In the pantheon of classic live albums and films, Cocker's Mad Dogs & Englishmen stands alongside Woodstock and The Last Waltz in defining the rock generation. In 1970, the craziest, loudest and longest rock 'n' roll circus, starring Cocker plus Leon Russell, the tour's musical director, hit America. Capturing Cocker and Russell in their prime, this Rarities Edition collects performances recorded but not included on the original two-disc album. Also heard is backup vocalist Claudia Lennear, who handles the Beatles' "Let It Be" while Cocker once more reprises the Fab Four's "Something" and "With A Little Help From My Friends."
