Dave Matthews Choose Your Own Charity Benefit Shows

(Gibson) Dave Matthews recently announced plans for a pair of December shows in Seattle, at which 100% of the concert proceeds will be donated to charity – the twist being that each and every ticket-buyer gets to decide which charity to support. Matthews is the first musician to team with JustGive.org, a website that matches donations with almost 2 million different charities. The concerts will be held December 6 and 7 at Seattle's McCaw Hall, and will team Matthews with his friend and frequent collaborator, multi-instrumentalist Tim Reynolds (the pair have released three live albums together since 1999, and Reynolds played on Matthews' debut solo album, Some Devil). - more on this story
