Donnis brings in help from friends Estelle, John Legend, GLC & more for the Fashionably Late mixtape, presented by Clinton Sparks. The mixtape will feature tracks from the EP sprinkled among borrowed beats that Donnis gladly laces with his playful lyricism and southern inflection.

The formerly active member of the United States Air Force made the coveted Freshman 2010 cover of XXL Magazine just months ago, deeming him one to watch this year.

He now finds himself at the top of his game as well as numerous "best of" lists after the release of his Diary Of An ATL Brave mixtape last August. It doesn't hurt that the 25-year old MC already has plenty of friends in high places; a resounding endorsement by A-Trak, who put out his first single "Gone" on the Brooklyn-based Fool's Gold Records, and several impressive opening performances for the likes of Snoop, TI and Erykah Badu are combining to form the perfect storm of anticipation for his next move (see below for upcoming Donnis live dates).

Both releases promise to demonstrate the unique approach to songwriting that has allowed him to captivate an audience of fans from many walks of life. Verses in which he comes across as conflicted and vulnerable are butted up against club-ready southern anthems and contrasted by auto-tuned summer jams, and then suddenly he's playfully singing to a woman over nothing but an acoustic guitar. Donnis is simply himself, and it's easy to see why he promises to be one of the most talked-about artists of the summer.
