Prog/death supergroup, Barren Earth, has completed filming their first music video for the track "The Leer", taken from the band's debut full-length record, Curse of the Red River. The globally acclaimed release hit stores in the US last month on Peaceville Records. The brand new video for "The Leer" was directed by Owe Lingvall, and can be viewed exclusively here One of the heaviest tracks on the new album, "The Leer" exemplifies Barren Earth's extraordinary musicianship, combining elements of prog, metal, death, and folk into a hard-hitting, psychedelic whirlwind, giving listeners a glimpse at the record Outburn Magazine calls "expansive" and "earth-shattering".
