As predicted, Godsmack's new album 'The Oracle,' debuts at the top of the charts after selling 118,441 copies in the U.S. this past week according to Hits Double Daily. The Deftones proved half as popular. Their new release, 'Diamond Eyes,' moved 60,596 units. See the full chart here

Train's music video which is directed by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz has made its way out. It follows the band taking "a much needed break" after years of touring. Aimed to support their single "If It's Love", the video features "some footage of how they spent their time." more

Forrmer Veruca Salt star Nicole Fiorentino has joined The Smashing Pumpkins to replace bassist Ginger Pooley. Pooley, who toured with Billy Corgan's band in 2007 and 2008, quit the group in March to concentrate on motherhood. more

Snoop Dogg has dropped out of a tour he would've shared with rap-rockers Limp Bizkit. No reason for the cancellation was given, but Limp Bizkit has already replaced Snoop with fellow West Coast rap maven Ice Cube. more

The only known audio recording of a 1966 Beatles press conference, in which John Lennon is grilled about saying the band was more popular than Jesus, is expected to sell for about $20,000 at auction in June. more
