Toy Soldiers Album and Tour Coming

Toy Soldiers are setting up for the release of their debut album, Whisper Down The Lane on May 18th via Mad Dragon Records.
Beginning as the brainchild of singer/guitarist Ron Gallo and drummer Mike Baurer, Toy Soldiers got its start relentlessly touring through the Philadelphia area performing honest Americana and blues influenced music. As the band gained notoriety they quickly picked up not only fans but additional band members, acquiring bassist Tyler Beck, singers Kate Foust, Vinchelle Woods and Josiah Wise, saxophonist Noah Skaroff, trumpeter Pete Veloski, guitarist Dan King, and pianist, singer and guitarist Zach Poyatt.
The immense growth of the band is attributed to undeniable drive from all members, who fused together to create an irresistible sound with unique and polished instrumentals. It's a sound so unmistakable, that Bruce Warren of influential Philly radio station WXPN called it "a righteous collection of rootsy, angly, craggly, soulful indie inspired songs that bring to mind Shangri-La era Kinks, Nashville Skyline era Dylan, Bright Eyes and the Black Keys, The Coasters and Carl Perkins. Rock it."
The band will be gearing up for the release of their album with a major tour consisting of 197 dates from one side of the country to the other. Starting out on their home turf of the Philly and heading into Chicago, they will hit the West coast by June and come back through the South and back on the East Coast come late Summer.Whispers Down The Lane Tracklisting
